Aniplex Inc. has announced that Resident Evil Survival Unit, the upcoming mobile strategy game developed in collaboration with JOYCITY Corporation, has exceeded one million pre-registrations across Japan, Korea, North America, Europe, and other regions in Asia. The total combines pre-registration numbers from both the App Store and Google Play.
Drawing on Capcom’s iconic Resident Evil series, Resident Evil Survival Unit aims to deliver a new take on the franchise for mobile devices. The game is pitched as providing accessible controls with the depth of real-time strategy, enabling players to connect and compete globally in a survival-focused setting within the series’ universe.
The title is planned for a worldwide launch in 2025, with pre-registration currently open through the App Store, Google Play, and the game’s official website.
