Garena has announced the global launch of Haikyu!! FLY HIGH, a mobile sports card game inspired by the popular volleyball anime HAIKYU!!. Now available on the iOS App Store and Android Google Play, the game lets fans recruit their favorite characters and step into the world of high school volleyball. Haikyu!! FLY HIGH is a free-to-play, gacha-supported live service mobile game – with all the caveats that come with this type of game.
Haikyu!! FLY HIGH sets out to blend real-time tactical gameplay with cinematic 3D action, delivering a fast-paced and visually dynamic experience on mobile. Players can immerse themselves in the anime’s most memorable moments, featuring authentic Japanese and English voiceovers from the original cast. The global release also debuts an exclusive English-dubbed tutorial voiced by Kiyoko Shimizu’s English voice actress.
To celebrate launch, Garena is rewarding all players with pre-registration bundles that include Recruit Tickets, Diamonds, Gold, training items, and a special Shoyo Hinata Chat Frame. Completing missions allows fans to unlock characters like Kei Tsukishima and Koshi Sugawara, as well as an SSR Player Selection Box to start building a dream team from the outset.
The launch also introduces several limited-time events, including “Campus Kickoff” and “The Greatest Decoy,” both starring protagonist Shoyo Hinata and offering extra resources, character recruitment opportunities, and more. Wakatoshi Ushijima, the “Undisputed Ace” from Shiratorizawa Gakuen High School, joins the game with the “Battle of Concepts” event, allowing players to relive the dramatic Karasuno vs. Shiratorizawa match now recreated in-game.
