CD PROJEKT RED and Go On Board have unveiled their next collaboration in The Witcher franchise, announcing The Witcher: Legacy, a story-driven board game for 1–4 players. Seeking to build upon the success of previous Witcher board game releases, this new project promises both solo and cooperative play, with a campaign that lets players shape the story through tough decisions and persistent consequences.
Set in the kingdom of Kaedwen, The Witcher: Legacy puts players in the boots of Wolf School witchers, tasked with tracking down those responsible for a devastating attack on their school. The adventure unfolds across multiple scenarios, each contributing to a sprawling narrative that evolves based on the choices players make. Decisions aren’t simply for flavour – actions in one session will carry over, affecting the campaign as it progresses.

Gameplay aims to blend narrative exploration, resource management, and strategic combat. Players will traverse Kaedwen’s expansive regions, battle monsters, train new skills, and navigate limited resources, all while working to expose a conspiracy threatening the witcher order.
An exclusive Gorgon monster miniature is available as a reward for those who follow and later participate in the project’s crowdfunding campaign on Gamefound. This creature makes its debut appearance in the Witcher universe with this release.
