Square Enix has announced that the first Closed Beta Test for its upcoming multiplayer murder mystery action title KILLER INN will begin on Saturday, 26 July 2025 at 8am AEST, with testing running through Tuesday, 29 July at 7:59am AEST. Interested players can now register via the game’s Steam playtest page to gain early access and help shape the game’s development.
The CBT will primarily focus on stress-testing server infrastructure and network performance. Selected players will be notified by email when access becomes available, and additional participants may be added throughout the beta period. Square Enix is also encouraging testers to provide feedback via a survey that will be shared during the test.
Set in a moody and mysterious setting, KILLER INN blends multiplayer action with classic murder mystery elements, tasking players with uncovering (or covering up) the truth.
