inZOI’s development team at KRAFTON has released a fresh hotfix, updating the life-simulation sandbox to Version 0.2.5 (or internally, version 20250701.5443.W). While not a full feature patch, the update aims to smooth out several pain points that creators have flagged, especially following the release of Early Access Version 0.2
A full list of tweaks can be found below:
Gameplay
- Made partial improvements to personal interactions
- Added conditions and emotional rewards to personal interactions, improved reflection of autonomous behavior, and more.
- Fixed an issue where camera controls became unresponsive when repeatedly clicking to enter Free Camera mode during Zoi control.
- Fixed an issue where Zoi could occasionally become unresponsive after loading a saved game.
- Fixed an issue where newborn babies would not appear in the family list after moving a pregnant Zoi to another household via Edit City .
- This fix only applies when starting a new game via “New Game.”

- This fix applies only to affected save files, where the pregnancy state will be reset and reverted to the pre-pregnancy state.

- Fixed an issue where NPCs would not go to work when the “timeSpeed” cheat was used.
Character
- Fixed an issue where some hairstyles for boy Zois were appearing duplicated in the hairstyle category.
- Fixed an issue where facial features of newborn Zois generated via genetics appeared unnatural.
Crash Fixes
Fixed a crash that could occur intermittently when loading a saved game or switching families.
