KRAFTON and the development team behind inZOI has released their first substantial update for the life simulation game following its early access release on Steam a few months back. This update centres on modding tools, wider character and building options, and refreshed life-simulation systems.
The headline addition is a fully fledged ModKit. Available in-game via a new Mod Browser, the toolkit lets players create outfits, furniture and data edits, then share them through CurseForge or manual downloads. A wizard-style interface, bundled Unreal and FBX sample assets, and Maya/Blender plug-ins aim to lower the barrier for first-time modders, with a comprehensive guide now live on the official site.
Character creation gains 29 extra items – five hairstyles and more than twenty clothing pieces – plus the ability to freely resize or reposition accessories. Meanwhile, Build Mode receives 175 new furniture and décor objects (including barred windows and children’s items), quicker shortcuts, automatic recovery of unsaved builds, and more intuitive roof and camera controls.
On the gameplay side, family and social options broaden: Zois can now adopt, pursue teen romance, give gifts, and initiate conversations by text. Non-marital childbirth and medically assisted conception provide further flexibility, while new gender-identity and attraction settings can be adjusted at any point. Simulation tweaks extend the Young Adult life stage, rebalance starting funds, and overhaul the prison system.
Quality-of-life changes include adjustable UI scaling, new cheat codes accessible via the Psycat Guide, and improved animations, audio and path-finding. A long list of bug fixes addresses issues across gameplay, career interactions, building and UI.
