High Fructose, an energetic first-person roguelite, is now available to try as part of Steam Next Fest. Developed by Chris Cantero – whose previous work includes animation on DOOM Eternal – this indie title invites players to step into the role of a ninja fox, taking on waves of bizarre mutant fruit in a fast-paced, melee-driven environment.
Seeking to combine gameplay elements reminiscent of Ghostrunner, Brotato, and Fruit Ninja, High Fructose sets out to offer players a unique blend of speed and action in a colourful FPS format. The game features a distinctive recipe system, allowing players to unlock new abilities during each run, as well as an aggressive counter mechanic designed to keep combat dynamic and challenging.
Players can experience the free demo now during Steam Next Fest and can wishlist the game on Steam ahead of its full release.
