Season 04 Content Drop for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Arrives on 30 May

Activision is set to roll out their Season 04 content update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone on 30 May 2025, introducing a wide array of new gameplay content, maps, modes, weapons and events across both titles.

In Black Ops 6 multiplayer, players can expect five new maps, including three at launch—Shutdown, Fugitive (both 6v6), and Blitz Strike. Mid-season additions include Eclipse and a reimagined version of Fringe. New and returning game modes will feature, including Team Elimination, a spin on Kill Confirmed, and the return of One in the Chamber. Players can also try the limited-time Party Ops mode. The classic Grim Reaper Scorestreak also makes its return, delivering explosive firepower, and a new Ranked Play season launches with fresh rewards.

In Zombies, the 4v4 Grief mode returns, challenging players to outlast opponents while battling the undead and capturing strategic zones. Additional features include the Shatter Blast ammo mod, three new GobbleGums, and the Grim Reaper Support launcher. New challenges and modes such as the Starting Room LTM and leaderboard-focused gameplay offer added incentives for Zombies players.

Warzone expands with a new point of interest, The Overlook, added to Downtown Verdansk. This high-rise building features ziplines, cranes, and a detailed interior. Players can also participate in returning and new limited-time modes, including Clash, Havoc Royale, and Resurgence Casual on Rebirth Island. Ranked Play returns to both Verdansk and Rebirth Island, with two separate competitive ladders running throughout the season.

Five new weapons will be introduced during the season: the LC10 SMG and FFAR 1 Assault Rifle at launch, followed later by the Essex Model 07 Marksman Rifle, Olympia Special Weapon, and a Pickaxe Melee Weapon. New attachments and playstyle options will accompany these additions.

Season 04 will also feature a lineup of events such as Rivals and Ballerina (inspired by the John Wick universe), with more arriving throughout the season. The new Battle Pass includes the return of Operator Stitch, along with the introduction of the Omen Operator as part of the BlackCell tier. Unlockable content includes new weapons, Operator skins, emotes, and other cosmetic items across both free and premium tiers.
