Bringing new life to their original Nintendo 3DS releases, Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Harvest Moon: Skytree Village will arrive as a bundled release on the Nintendo Switch on 3 July 2025. Announced by Natsume Inc, the company confirmed that this “Cozy Bundle” will include both games on a single game card, complete with all previously released downloadable content.
The Nintendo Switch versions feature a range of technical improvements, including updated user interfaces, enhanced controls, and higher resolution textures and visual effects. The bundle is currently available for pre-order through The Natsume Store, with a limited acrylic standee valued at USD $12.99 included as a gift while supplies last.
Originally released in 2014, Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley follows the story of a young protagonist who stumbles upon a snow-covered valley where the seasons have mysteriously vanished. Working with the Harvest Sprite, villagers, and divine beings, players set out to restore the balance of nature by bringing back all four seasons. The game allows players to grow crops, raise livestock, reshape the landscape using 3D terrain tools, and build relationships that can lead to marriage and family.
Released in 2016, Harvest Moon: Skytree Village centres on a once-flourishing town now left desolate. Players must revive the land by restoring the seven Skytrees and returning the Harvest Goddess to power. The game expands on customisation and farming mechanics, featuring new crops, fishing systems, and a cast of colourful townspeople, including romanceable characters. As with The Lost Valley, all additional content—including new characters, outfits, and items—is included in the Switch release.
Natsume Inc. President and CEO Hiro Maekawa commented on the announcement and upcoming release, sharing the following:
We look forward to bringing Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Harvest Moon: Skytree Village to Nintendo Switch on July 3 as we release our first Cozy Bundle. The team has been working hard on optimizing these 3DS titles for Switch, ensuring high quality and updated features. We hope this will be the first of many bundles featuring classic Natsume games that fans have been wanting to play on modern consoles.
