Square Enix Collective and FuturLab have released The Muckingham Files 6, marking the final free content update for PowerWash Simulator. The update is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
This concluding instalment of the Muckingham Files series introduces two new bonus jobs and lays the groundwork for the upcoming sequel, PowerWash Simulator 2, which is set to launch later this year.
In the Sculpture Park level, players are invited to clean a series of art installations while receiving commentary from fictional sculptor Darcy d’Arcy. The level offers a mix of detailed environmental storytelling and artistic humour, challenging players to strip away layers of grime from abstract monuments.
Meanwhile, the Subway Train level tasks players with restoring a vandalised train carriage. Posters inside the train provide Easter eggs hinting at what’s to come in the next game, giving fans a first glimpse into PowerWash Simulator 2.
To mark the occasion, new bundles for PowerWash Simulator are now available. The Ultimate Satisfaction Bundle includes all content released for the game to date—featuring over 100 levels, including seasonal updates and crossovers with SpongeBob SquarePants, Back to the Future, Shrek, and more. For players who already own the base game, the Satisfying Specials Bundle offers a discounted collection of all additional content.
Tímea Edvi, Director of Indie Publishing at Square Enix Collective, reflected on the studio’s collaboration with FuturLab:
It’s been a true pleasure supporting them on their journey with PowerWash Simulator from Early Access, and play a part in evolving the brand and support their strategy rooted in their connection to their community and amplify their voice as their publishing partner for the past 4 years. We can’t wait to see what’s next and are excited to continue collaborating with them and grow the PowerWash franchise!
