CD Projekt RED has commenced a year-long celebration to mark the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, commemorating a decade since the RPG launched on 19 May 2015. As part of the milestone, the studio has released a new anniversary trailer, hosted a commemorative livestream, and announced a series of global events and collaborations.
As part of the 10th anniversary commemorations, a special edition of the REDstreams developer broadcast featured Geralt’s English voice actor, Doug Cockle, and English Adaptation Director Borys Pugacz-Muraszkiewicz. Cockle discussed his long-standing role as Geralt and how the character and community have shaped his life and career.
Musically, The Witcher in Concert will be a key component of the celebrations, with two initial performances scheduled for 31 May in Boston and 15 June in Poznań. The full concert tour is set to officially begin on 20 August at gamescom in Cologne, with additional dates and venues expected to be announced in the future.
To further mark the occasion, CD Projekt Red is releasing a collection of 10 artworks by artists associated with the franchise, including Przemysław “TRUST” Trusciński and Grzegorz Przybyś. These pieces will be available on Displate’s metal canvases and as prints on a range of merchandise such as T-shirts and mugs.
A new collaboration with Embody brings the Immerse Gamepack for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, offering players personalised spatial audio. Owners of the previous Cyberpunk 2077 Gamepack will receive access to this update at no additional cost.
More announcements and events related to the 10th anniversary are expected throughout the year.
