The Costume Set, which includes 15 individual costumes—one each for Uzume, Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert across Swimsuit, Apocalyptic, and Race Queen themes—will also be sold separately as downloadable content for $6.99 USD. Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos presents an alternate dimension to the usual Gamindustri setting, where a growing number of varied Dogoos threaten to overrun the world. Players take on the role of a lone rider navigating this unfamiliar land in search of an escape.
The game features six playable characters and 15 stages, where players collect Dogoos while attempting to restore their companions’ senses. Each Dogoo comes with unique behaviours and gameplay effects—some helpful, others hazardous. Players can even weaponise unfavourable Dogoos against rivals. Combat mechanics differ across characters, with some favouring close-range attacks and others suited to long-range strategies. Customisation options allow for upgrades to each character’s bike, adjusting elements such as body, muffler, and tyres to enhance defence, speed, and manoeuvrability.
