Disney Illusion Island Starring Mickey & Friends, the 2D platformer from Dlala Studios, will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 27 June 2025. A physical edition is now available for pre-order, which includes an exclusive poster. A digital-exclusive PC version of the game is also scheduled to release via Steam next month.

Originally launched on other platforms, Disney Illusion Island follows Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy as they journey across the hand-drawn landscapes of Monoth in a bid to save the island. Players can take on the adventure solo or team up with up to three others in local co-op mode.

Each of the four playable characters brings unique traits and abilities that can assist in puzzle-solving and combat. Co-operative play introduces special multiplayer mechanics such as Rope Drop, Leap Frog, and the ability to share health with a hug.

The game features three main biomes: the lush Pavonia, the mechanically surreal Gizmopolis, and the aquatic expanse of Astrono. Throughout the adventure, players are tasked with recovering three mystical Tomes while exploring the island’s hidden paths and collecting items such as Mickey Memorabilia, Tokuns, and Glimts.

In addition to the base content, new features and updates will be available, including a Dig ability introduced by Scrooge McDuck as part of the Cave Adventuring Scavenger Hunt. Previously released updates, such as Keeper Up and Mystery in Monoth, will also be included on-disc.
