During this morning’s PlayStation State of Play broadcast, MINTROCKET announced that Dave the Diver is teaming up with the Like a Dragon series for a unique crossover. Titled Ichiban’s Holiday, this DLC will launch in April as paid content for Dave the Diver.
In this collaboration, Like a Dragon protagonist Kasuga Ichiban takes a break from his usual adventures to visit the Blue Hole, accompanied by the bartender from the Survive Bar. However, Ichiban’s holiday quickly takes a turn when Bancho’s ego is bruised by some blunt honesty from the bartender. Soon after, the duo finds themselves entangled in a plot involving a dolphin-poaching syndicate, setting the stage for an unexpected mission.
The DLC will also introduce new gameplay elements, including a beat ’em up-style infiltration sequence where Ichiban teams up with Cobra, an ex-arms dealer known for his tough exterior and secret loyalty. Together, they will take on the Sea Blue gang in a high-stakes battle. Beyond combat, the crossover features classic mini-games from both Dave the Diver and Like a Dragon. Players can enjoy Ichiban’s signature karaoke performances and recruit well-known characters from the Like a Dragon series to work in Bancho’s sushi restaurant.
