Publisher Knights Peak and developer VEA Games have announced the release of Nikoderiko: The Magical World on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Priced at €29.99, $29.99 USD or local equivalent, this platforming adventure expands its availability following its earlier debut on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Nikoderiko: The Magical World invites players to step into the shoes of treasure-hunting mongooses Niko and Luna as they navigate seven magical worlds filled with treasures and challenges. Featuring 2.5D levels, occasional 3D segments, and a couch co-op experience, the game seeks to appeal to to both fans of more traditional platforming experiences and newcomers alike. Hearkening back to traditional platforming experiences, the game’s score is kudos of David Wise, famed for his work on Rare games in the latter half of the 90s and early 2000s.
