Square Enix and Mistwalker has announced the release of FANTASIAN Neo Dimension, a single-player RPG from legendary producer Hironobu Sakaguchi and composer Nobuo Uematsu. The game is now available digitally for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It is also Steam Deck Verified, enabling portable play for PC users.
Originally launched on Apple Arcade in 2021, FANTASIAN has been reimagined for modern platforms in Neo Dimension, featuring 4K resolution support for consoles and PC. The game includes new features, such as English and Japanese voiceovers, an additional difficulty level, and the Collaboration BGM option, which lets players replace the battle music with select tracks from iconic Final Fantasy titles, including the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series (I–VI), Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, and Final Fantasy XVI.
In FANTASIAN Neo Dimension, players take on the role of Leo, a young man on a journey to recover his lost memories and uncover the origins of a mechanical infection threatening his world. The game seeks to offer a modern twist on turn-based combat with unique mechanics and strategic gameplay, set against the backdrop of over 150 meticulously hand-crafted dioramas.
