Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, a refreshed edition of Capcom’s originaal classic zombie survival title, has launched in physical format for PlayStation 5 (and in some regions, the Xbox Series X|S), following its recent digital multiplatform debut. Alongside this release, a new update introduces new game modes, PlayStation 5 Pro enhancements, and a free demo for new players.
To cater to different play styles, the new “Casual” difficulty has been introduced. This mode provides a more accessible experience across all game modes, including 72-Hour Mode, Overtime Mode, and Infinity Mode. Casual mode offers players increased attack strength and reduced damage for Frank West and survivors, presenting a streamlined way to explore the game, especially for newcomers to the franchise. Additionally, Arabic language support and various bug fixes have been added to improve accessibility and overall game performance.
The release also brings enhanced features for PlayStation 5 Pro players, such as improved ray tracing support and smoother gameplay at 60 FPS.
For those interested in experiencing Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster before purchasing, a free demo is now available on all platforms, including PlayStation 5. This trial version allows players to explore the opening segment of the game, where they step into the shoes of freelance photojournalist Frank West as he investigates a mysterious event at Willamette Parkview Mall, only to find himself caught in a zombie outbreak.
