Act II of Destiny 2: Revenant is set to go live tomorrow (20 November AEDT/NZDT), with Bungie introducing new gameplay features, a Street Fighter 6 crossover, and seasonal festivities to the live service game. This update also brings the Tomb of Elders mode, new weapons, Artifact perks, and more, continuing the story as players assist Mithrax and Eido in stopping Fikrul from raising more Fallen for his Scorn army.
Inspired by the Prison of Elders mode from the original Destiny, Tomb of Elders challenges Guardians to infiltrate the titular tomb, facing waves of combatant factions across multiple arenas that escalate in difficulty with each round. Alongside this new activity, Act II introduces Artifact perks aimed at enhancing melee and Arc-focused builds.
Later in Act II, The Dawning holiday event returns, featuring Eva Levante and her Holiday Oven. Guardians can bake winter-themed treats for their allies while earning rewards, including the new Void Linear Fusion Rifle, Mistral Lift.
Launching alongside Act II is a collaboration with Street Fighter 6, offering themed cosmetics in the Eververse Store. Players can equip their Guardians with Finishers inspired by Chun-Li and Ryu, including Hadoken, Lightning Kick, and Spinning Kick. Additional items include two emotes – Blanka Fight and Bonus Stage; three Ghost shells styled after Cammy, Chun-Li, and Ryu; and a Blanka-inspired universal helmet ornament available for all classes.
Destiny 2 is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC.
