Ubisoft’s Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) division have revealed their plans for PAX Aus 2024, with a focus on showcasing Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Rainbow Six Siege at the event, which will be held in Melbourne from 11–13 October.
Attendees will be able to play Assassin’s Creed Shadows at the Ubisoft booth, and hear from Game Director Charles Benoit from Ubisoft Québec. Benoit will give an in-depth presentation titled Bringing Assassin’s Creed Shadows to Life with Ubisoft Québec on the Saturday at the Quokka Theatre, from 1:00 – 2:00pm.
For Rainbow 6 Siege fans, the event marks the return of live showmatches in Australia. On Friday, 11 October, two special matches will be held in the Queue Hall, starting at 5:30pm. The first match will feature a 5v5 game with 10 content creators, where each round will see gameplay rules modified via a “wheel spin” from the stage host. Following this, two of the best Rainbow 6 Siege esports teams from the APAC region will face off in an exhibition match.
Further details, including the full lineup of creators and teams, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
