Fans of BLEACH can look forward to a new video game instalment in the franchise come Early 2025. Currently in development for the PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, BLEACH Rebirth of Souls aims to allow players to engage in swordfights reminiscent of the series, using each character’s unique abilities to gain the upper hand.
The latest trailer introduces new characters and forms, including Ulqiorra’s Resurrección Segunda Etapa and Full Hollowfication Ichigo, expanding the roster of playable characters. These additions join familiar faces like Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Yoruichi Shihoin, Chad, and the recently revealed Kenpachi Zaraki.
BLEACH originally ran as a popular sword-fighting series in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016, followed by a TV anime that aired from 2004 to 2012, followed by a number of movie instalments. The final chapter, Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, began broadcasting in 2022, featuring new character designs and more powerful characters, continuing to attract fans worldwide.
