GIANTS Software, the developer and publisher behind the Farming Simulator series, showcased a new gameplay trailer for Farming Simulator 25 at Gamescom. The trailer showcased several new features which the development team hope shall enhance the virtual farming experience.
One such feature a dynamic weather system. Players will need to keep an eye on darkening clouds, as they might signal the arrival of a severe weather event. Light twisters and hailstorms can occur, potentially damaging fields and forests if precautions are not taken. Of course, if you are a player who doesn’t like seeing progress lost to such disasters, you will be provided with an option to deactivate the destruction of crops to maintain your yield despite adverse weather.
Farming Simulator 25 will also introduce water buffaloes and goats to the list of farm animals. These animals will produce different types of milk, which can be processed into cheeses for distribution. In addition, players can look forward to a more immersive animal husbandry experience with the ability to breed animals, watching them grow from babies into productive members of the farm.
Scheduled for release on 12th November 2024, Farming Simulator 25 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
