Square Enix has announced that pre-orders are now open for the physical release of Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Anniversary Edition, a collection available for PlayStation 4 (compatible with PlayStation 5) and Nintendo Switch. This edition features remastered editions of Final Fantasy I through Final Fantasy VI inclusive, and includes an exclusive sticker sheet featuring pixelated characters.
Previously released as a retail version overseas, where it quickly sold out, this collection is now accessible for Australian and New Zealand fans through select retailers.
The Final Fantasy I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition introduces unique features to the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions. Players can choose between the game’s rearranged and original soundtracks, and select between a standard or pixel-based font. Additionally, the edition offers boost features, such as the ability to disable random encounters and adjust an experience multiplier from 0 to 4.
The Final Fantasy I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition is set for release on 8 October 2024.
