In celebration of SEGA's return to gamescom 2024, Sonic Team has released a new trailer for Sonic x Shadow Generations, spotlighting Shadow's all-new Doom Powers. The trailer showcases high-speed gameplay, including Shadow surfing on water and flying over obstacles, alongside glimpses of new abilities, stages like Chaos Island from Sonic Frontiers, and upcoming boss challenges. Sonic x Shadow Generations is scheduled for release on 25 October 2024, and will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch systems.
