Developer Nerial and publisher Devolver Digital has released their new “thirst-person shooter” The Crush House on PC via Steam. This new title brings players back to the world of a 90s where reality TV is all the rage, casting them in the role of Jae, a camerawoman tasked with producing a hit TV show.
In The Crush House, players must manage the casting, filming, and production of each season, aiming to capture the drama, tension, and romance within the show’s iconic mansion. The challenge lies in satisfying a variety of micro-audiences, each with their own expectations, while avoiding the looming threat of cancellation.
The game sets out to offer a selection of twelve distinct personalities from which players can choose to create their four-person cast. Success hinges on the strategic combination of conflicting or complementary personalities to create engaging content. Additionally, players must balance their creative work with financial management, inserting TV ads to generate revenue needed for house upgrades.
But when the cameras are not rolling at night, players can explore the mansion, uncovering the dark secrets hidden within The Crush House through forbidden conversations with the cast.
The Crush House is now available on PC via Steam.
