With Genshin Impact Version 4.8 due for release in only a few short days, HoYoverse has cast their gaze even further ahead by focusing on their next major update to their free-to-play action-adventure game – Version 5.0. This update cycle will take players to the fire nation of Natlan for the sixth stage of the Archon quest, and with it introduce a whole slate of new characters.
Developer and publisher HoYoverse has shared their full teaser trailer for the new region and its characters, in the above video titled Ignition Teaser: A Name Forged in Flames. While one might initially think the nation of fire would be one of harsh conditions, it appears to be a lot more diverse, with the first half of the trailer focused around a ball game in the region, with the ball being passed to all the main characters. Very different from the Fontaine teaser a year ago, which focused on the regions duality of showmanship and law, but showcases a region different from what one might expect.
In addition to the teaser trailer, the English and Japanese voice cast for many of the confirmed new characters have been shared. These include:
