Bandai Namco Entertainment has today confirmed that their upcoming hack-and-slash looter game, Gundam Breaker 4, will be receiving an Open Network Test (ONT) across three days later this month. This is in advance of the game’s release on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC on 29 August 2024 – and is set to allow players the opportunity to experience a portion of the game, and begin customising their own Gunpla.
The Gundam Breaker 4 ONT offers players the chance to break, build, and battle with up to two friends while completing quests and customising their Gunpla to create the ultimate model. The pre-download for the ONT will begin on 18 July at midnight CEST. The test will be conducted during the following times:
Day 1: Friday, 19 July
Session 1: 2 a.m. CEST to 7 a.m. CEST
Session 2: 11 a.m. CEST to 4 p.m. CEST
Day 2: Saturday, 20 July to Sunday, 21 July
20 July, 4 a.m. CEST to 21 July, 8 a.m. CEST
Additionally, in a bit of an out-there announcement, Bandai Namco Entertainment confirmed that Gundam Breaker 4 will feature a collaboration with Pac-Man, launching alongside the game on 29 August. This collaboration includes a level inspired by the iconic Pac-Man mazes, where players will face a giant Pac-Man-themed Gundam RX-78-2. Completing this mission will reward players with a Pac-Man themed emblem to use on their Gunpla.
Gundam Breaker 4 is developed by CRAFTS & MEISTER Co., Ltd. The game allows players to fight enemies solo or with up to two friends in co-op multiplayer. Returning to the franchise’s roots, it enables players to create their dream Gunpla from an extensive collection of mobile suits and parts.
