XD Inc. and Sunborn Network have revealed the launch details for Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery, a new addition to the Girls’ Frontline series, which is now confirmed to be released on PC via Steam starting 22 March 2024.
This game takes place 30 years in the future, during the Second Cold War, and follows the story of an Antarctic Union agent named Mendo and a mysterious girl, Jefuty. Their mission is to counteract the schemes of the Union of Rossartrism Nations Coalitions (URNC), with the narrative offering multiple endings based on critical decisions and pivotal moments.
Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery is pitched as a tactical RPG set in a futuristic, sci-fi military environment. The game promises a variety of missions, from stealth operations to intense combat scenarios, supported by an extensive selection of advanced weaponry and tactical gear. The game also claims an emphasis on character development, with chibi characters exhibiting micro-gestures to convey emotions, alongside cinematic story sequences and fluid combat animations to enhance the gaming experience.
Priced at $24.99 for the standard edition, and $39.99 for the Deluxe Edition—which includes exclusive skins, item packs, a digital art book, and an over 60-track OST album—Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery is set to go live on Steam from 22 March 2024. However until 5 April 2024, an 18% discount will be available for both editions.
