Sony Interactive entertainment has today shared more information on their upcoming PC release of Helldivers 2 – including the all-important Minimum, Recommended, Performance and Ultra system specs, and a few other bits of information.
Does Helldivers 2 Feature Cross-Play Support with PS5 Versions of the Game?
Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that yes, Helldivers 2 on PC does support crossplay with players on the PlayStation 5 and vice versa. According to them, “Community and teamwork are the most important pillars of Helldivers 2, and so it is essential to ensure players can work together regardless of the system they choose to use. Together, players can celebrate victories, mourn losses, and liberate the galaxy without platform boundaries“

When Can I Buy Helldivers 2?
Helldivers 2 will be available on the PC and PlayStation 5 starting Thursday 8 February 2024, with pre-orders now open via Steam. This is a rare case where a first-party published game from Sony Interactive Entertainment is released simultaneously on console and PC, usually favouring the PlayStation consoles first.
Helldivers 2 is being published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and is developed by Arrowhead Game Studios as their fifth game – the previous three being Magicka, The Showdown Effect, Gauntlet, and the game it is a successor of, Helldivers.
