To be available as part of the Premium Expansion DLC and Premium Edition of Farming Simulator 22, GIANTS Software has confirmed that the game will be receiving a Garage Extension starting 14 November 2023. What does this mean?
On top of more than 400 machines contained within the base game, the Premium Expansion adds over 35 new items from new manufacturers Dewulf, Gorenc, Agrio & WIFO, to even more machines by BEDNAR, Fiat, GRIMME, Kverneland, SaMASZ & many others. The new additions push the number of available real-world brands and their authentically digitised machines in Farming Simulator 22 to over 150.
GIANTS Software claim to have added machinery to help care for the new crops available in the fields of Zielonka, the Premium Expansion’s new map, providing a variety of machines to sow, harvest and tend to the soil. Carrots, parsnips, and red beet have special requirements to grow such as rotary hillers, like the GRIMME GF 800, to create ridges before sowing, and various harvesting machines like the , Dewulf ZKIVSE vegetable harvester, in order to care for them. The studio has aimed to authentically digitise these machines, with “even more care applied to moving parts and other mechanical details”, in hopes of providing a more realistic experience.
Farming Simulator 22 is now available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S gaming platforms. The Premium Edition (and the stand-alone add-on Premium Expansion) will be available on 14 November 2023, with the Premium Edition including two expansions and seven packs in addition to the full version.
