Refining their PlayStation 5 release date to an exact day, HoYoverse has confirmed that the PS5 version of Honkai: Star Rail will go live on the PlayStation Store starting 11 October 2023. This follow’s the tactical RPG’s free-to-play gacha-supported release on PC, iOS and Android platforms early in 2023 (Review Here).
An exclusive, time-limited pre-order bundle is also available to purchase via the PlayStation Store to gear up Trailblazers for the upcoming interstellar journey, although not a mandatory purchase by any means.
This announcement was made during the most recent PlayStation State of Play livestream, and was shown alongside a new trailer for the game. Narrated by the mysterious Stellaron Hunter, Kafka, the trailer set out to invite players to fully immerse themselves in the latest gameplay experiences offered in Honkai: Star Rail.
It also details the newly enhanced Simulated Universe: Swarm Disaster. Players were introduced to a new formidable foe, Swarm: True Sting, renowned for its ability to divide and spawn additional swarms. It is essential to address this threat promptly to avoid a complete overrun of the battlefield.
