During PAX West over the weekend, Square Enix hosted a ‘Voices from Valisthea’ panel led by led by Localization Director Michael-Christopher Koji Fox and some of the game’s English voice actors. This panel, also available to watch online, sees the group discuss the journey of the cast bringing their respective characters to live. The panel also included a segment where the voice actors answered a series of fan questions submitted through social media.
Producer Naoki “YoshiP” Yoshida also had a presence at the event, announcing a ‘thank you’ gift for everyone who has supported the game so far. These gifts include an alternate outfit and weapon skins for Clive, along with outfits for some of the game’s other characters as well. This is topped off with a free ‘onion sword’, allowing Clive to wield the favored blade of the Warriors of Light, heroes of FINAL FANTASY III. The character customisation is set to be part of the ‘Appearance’ feature in-game, which is being added as part of Final Fantasy XVI Version 1.10, which is live right now.
