Less than a month out from the game’s 3 October 2023 launch date, Nippon Ichi Software America has released an official playable demo for Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless – the seventh flagship instalment in the Disgaea SRPG franchise.
This demo will give you a sample of what to expect from the final release, being a small segment of the game’s introduction, with all saved progress being transferable to the full game. Prepare for your invasion from within Hinomoto a little bit earlier, test your strategies, and if you watch the demo trailer, rock out to an iconic song from the original release of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness on the PlayStation 2.
This demo trailer for Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless features the song The Invasion from Within! by Tsunami Bomb. This song was only ever included in the original ATLUS USA English release of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, with NIS America acquiring a license to use the song 20 years later. This appears to be only for use in the trailer, but maybe we will see it included in the game as well.
