SEGA Unveil ‘Fast. Friends. Forever’ Campaign

In an announcement shared today by SEGA, a new campaign titled ‘Fast. Friends. Forever.’ was unveiled revolving around the developer and publisher’s flagship Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Seeking to celebrate the franchises’ fanbase and build upon the values they hope are instilled by Sonic and his friends, including ” friendship, teamwork, inspiration and loyalty”, this new initiative seeks to “show how Sonic and friends live out these principles in and out of the games”.

This campaign will be run over the coming months, and features a number of events, opportunities and community-based activations including:

  • An upcoming four-panel digital comic series by Sonic’s community of friends featuring the work of artists from around the world with the first issues available today. Fourteen more of these will be released in the coming months.
  • The Sonic Symphony World Tour featuring Sonic and friends alongside music from the games including Sonic Superstars launching this fall. Confirmed stops in the tour include London, Paris, Los Angeles, Brasil, Germany, Japan and more. Sadly, Australia and New Zealand didn’t make the cut. More information can be found HERE.
  • Season Two of TailsTube will be released in the future, focusing Tails in a variety of stories.
  • Dedicated website showcasing all campaign activities alongside character bios, spotlights, digital comics and additional content. More information can be found HERE.
