Hopefully bringing some improvements to shift the game from its mixed reception to a more positive reception, it has been announced that Park Beyond will be receiving a significant update starting 29 September 2023. According to publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment, this update aims to provide a number of enhancements including performance upgrades, modifications in visitor flow, mission redesigns, and improvements in modular building, among others.
Another notable addition in this update is the integration of the parks and prefabs sharing platform through mod.io, facilitating players to share their park creations and prefabs globally across multiple platforms.
Coinciding with this announcement, the update shall also be complemented by the game’s first theme world: Beyond eXtreme. This new feature introduces fresh missions that revolve around the dynamic character, Blaize. Players can look forward to the inclusion of two brand-new flat rides, entertainers, and an extensive collection of over 250 decorative items. Catering to fans of the 90s aesthetic and those who crave high-octane amusement attractions, Park Beyond: Beyond eXtreme aspires to transform any park into a hub for thrill-seekers.
Park Beyond is now available on the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
