With approximately 7,800 star systems accessible in the main game, directly replicating the full experience offered by EVE Online and its storied 20 year history in a non video game format would be a nigh-impossible task. However, developer CCP Games is teaming up with Titan Forge, the miniature sculpting studio and board game publisher, to craft a board game based on the space-faring MMO. The EVE Online board game aims to bring the excitement of New Eden’s space exploration, player-driven narratives, and strategic warfare to the tabletop. The Kickstarter pre-launch page for the project is now live, allowing fans to follow its progress in anticipation of the campaign’s launch in the last quarter of 2023.
