Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. and Second Impact Games have revealed a new co-op mashup game they have in the works called Super Crazy Rhythm Castle. Described as a “puzzling co-op mashup unlike anything you’ve ever heard”, it is also pitched to be a “character-based rhythm game at its core” which “mixes genres to take you on a unique adventure through a bizarre castle, with a cruel king hell-bent on throwing you off your rhythm”.
Konami and Second Impact Games have released their first trailer for the game (below), providing a glimpse that will await players in the future.
As part of a more unique marketing strategy, Konami and Second Impact Games have teamed up with TikTok to provide exclusive previews of various levels and play-modes of the game. On July 13th, a few chosen TikTok creators, namely spectrexgaming, itsnick&cam, Magukarp, and sholaheyy, will showcase sneak peeks of the game.
Super Crazy Rhythm Castle” is a brainchild of Second Impact Games, a micro-studio located in the UK. According to them, a decade of meticulous development has been invested in crafting something “Super Crazy”. Konami will serve as publisher, bringing the game to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch sometime in the future. No official release date has been shared.
