Bungie Day, an event that has its origins within Bungie’s gaming community, is scheduled to take place on 7 July 2023, or 8 July 2023 for those of us in Australia and New Zealand. This year, Bungie is organizing an assortment of engaging activities for the week, such as the Bungie Day Giving Festival, a community emblem competition, and several fishing events including Lucky Week that offers double the chance to catch Exotic fish. Additionally, Destiny 2 players can look forward to increased reputation gains in Vanguard, Gambit, and Crucible playlists from until 12 July.

The Bungie Foundation is organizing its fourth annual Bungie Day Giving Festival, which will run from 7-24 July 2023. This charity event provides supporters the opportunity to raise funds for various charitable organizations including Little Lights, Direct Relief, and the College Success Foundation. Donors will have the chance to win several prizes such as an Exotic Ghost Shell, Bungie Day emblem bundle, a limited edition Marathon T-Shirt, and PlayStation games among other rewards.
In conjunction with the Giving Festival, Bungie is also conducting its first-ever global emblem competition. The Destiny 2 community is invited to submit artwork to be featured in the game.
Need a reason to continue wishing in Destiny 2? Bungie is hosting a fishing derby on Bungie Day. The event comprises five distinct one-hour fishing competitions throughout the day. Participants will attempt to catch as many fish as possible, earning points based on the rarity of the fish. The individuals with the highest scores will be awarded a Bungie Foundation Digital Prize Pack. More information can be found HERE.

The Bungie Store is joining in the Bungie Day celebrations by offering one of its largest sales of the year. The sale includes a wide array of new merchandise along with popular items making a return. There will be discounts of up to 50% on selected products. Among the new items available are a Bungie Day pin set, pre-orders for Destiny Grimoire Anthology Volume VI: Partners in Light, collectibles from Numskull Designs, and apparel from LVLP Wear.
Furthermore, Bungie is bringing back the Retired Rewards Restock event for players who might have missed earlier Bungie Rewards. This event features products that will be available for purchase to players who have completed certain in-game achievements. These re-released rewards will be available either until supplies run out or until the conclusion of the event on 14 July 2023 at 2 AM AEST.

In addition, Bungie has partnered with Displate to produce Destiny-themed metal posters, giving players the opportunity to collect and use them to decorate their gaming spaces with high-quality art.
