Okay Mr. Sunshine: We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie Launches on Consoles

Bandai Namco Europe has released the remastered version of the 2005 classic puzzle game, We Love Katamari on a variety of platforms today, under the title We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie. It is now purchasable on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S; and offers enhanced visuals, a new ‘Royal Reverie’ chapter and more.

In WE LOVE KATAMARI REROLL+ ROYAL REVERIE, players once again take control of The Prince (and his various small family members), pushing their Katamari around the world to create a giant ball composed of everything and anything, aiming to reach the stars. The game continues from where it left off in Katamari Damacy, with the King of All Cosmos discovering his newfound popularity on Earth after recreating the stars in the sky. o fulfil the wishes of his beloved fans, the King sends his son the Prince to roll things up once again into a Katamari.

In addition to a single-player campaign, We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie retains the game’s original offline multiplayer mode, where two players can either roll the biggest Katamari collaboratively or go up against each other. The ‘Royal Reverie’ content includes five new challenges, completing the story of the King’s childhood, and how he grew up to be the flamboyant ruler we know and love.

A special edition is also available to purchase, offering fans of the series 25 music tracks from the Katamari Damacy franchise, and a small collection of decorative in-game accessories.
