Announcing their next crossover collaboration for PowerWash Simulator, FuturLab and Square Enix Collective has announced they will be launching the SpongeBob SquarePants Special Pack for the game this summer (or winter, for us in the southern hemisphere). This underwater expansion will be available for Steam, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 versions of the game.
The SpongeBob SquarePants Special Pack aims to deliver a dose of nautical nostalgia for fans. The pack has been lovingly crafted in the distinct style of the original cartoon, in collaboration with the team at Nickelodeon. This expansion not only seeks to take players under the sea for some unique powerwashing gameplay, but also deliver on the humour and charm that is so central to SpongeBob’s appeal.
In an exclusive feature for this Special Pack, the PowerWash character model will receive a complete marine makeover. Players will immerse themselves as a true Bottomite, equipped with a custom-designed power washer that they boast “could rival even Sandy Cheeks’ best inventions”.
James Marsden, FuturLab’s Co-CEO, expressed his enthusiasm for the pack, stating:

The SpongeBob SquarePants Special Pack for PowerWash Simulator introduces a mini campaign spanning across six new maps featuring iconic locations and vehicles such as Conch Street, The Bikini Bottom Bus, The Krusty Krab, The Patty Wagon, The Invisible Boatmobile, and The Mermalair. Moreover, ten aquatic achievements have been added for players to strive for. As the residents of Bikini Bottom try to unravel the mystery behind their suddenly messy town, players will find themselves amidst a whole new wave of power washing adventures.
