Bandai Namco Entertainment has today confirmed that the pirates’ adventure in Memoria is not yet over, confirming that work is underway on a new piece of downloadable content for One Piece Odyssey titled Reunion of Memories.
The famous pirates are finally resting after their unbelievable adventures on the island of Waford and in Memoria, the world made of their memories. But as they celebrate their last night together before sailing away, a girl who looks like Lim appears dressed in black clothes with her hood pulled over her face, holding a sinister black cube in hand… But who is she? The Straw Hat Crew will be forced back into Memoria and transported again to Alabasta, although it seems different from last time, and the cube needed to escape has disappeared.
The world of memories has changed, and Luffy and the other members of the Straw Hat Crew will have to find their way back, while also uncovering one final hidden mystery. In addition to releasing the trailer above, Bandai Namco Entertainment also shared this recorded video message from One Piece Odyssey producer Katsuaki Tsuzuki, where they share more about the features of this DLC.
Released earlier in the year, One Piece Odyssey is now available to purchase on the PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC – with demos available on each of these platforms. You can read my review of the game HERE.
