Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition to Launch Next Month on PlayStation and Xbox Consoles

Publisher Greenlight Games together with animation studio Aardman has today announced the upcoming release of Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. Based on the Shaun the Sheep franchise, this game is pitched as a “multiplayer couch classic”, and is set to go live digitally from 26 May 2023 on both the Xbox Marketplace and PlayStation Store. Pre-sales for Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition will commence on 12 May 2023, with a 20% discount on the game’s regular retail price (£8.99 / €10.99 / $10.99) offered until the day of launch.

Home Sheep Home was originally released on the Nintendo Switch and PC in 2019, with this Farmageddon Party Edition being remastered for current generation PlayStation and Xbox consoles by the Bristol-based developer Mobile Pie. It includes all the gameplay, features, and modes from previous versions of the game.

The multiplayer aspect of the game offers co-op support, allowing players to collaborate in solving challenges and helping Shaun, Shirley, and Timmy find their way back home. The game takes players on an adventure through various settings, such as underground, through the streets of London, and deep into space. The Farmageddon Party Edition also introduces a series of action-packed, movie-themed party games, bringing extra-terrestrial chaos to the farm with a visit to the Farmageddon theme park.

Dean Day, CEO of Greenlight Games, expressed excitement about expanding the Home Sheep Home title to new platforms in partnership with Aardman and Mobile Pie:

We’re so excited to be part of expanding the Home Sheep Home title to new platforms with Aardman & Mobile Pie. We hope that the community continues to support the title so that we can bring more content down the road for our players.

Promoted features of Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition include:

  • Let’s Ewe This! – Overcome fiendishly challenging puzzles by working as a flock with multiplayer features that’ll have players bleating at each other like overly excitable newly born lambs. Use each sheep’s unique abilities to solve challenges and shove, leap, squeeze and swim through underground tunnels, abandoned mineshafts – and even evade the guards at Buckingham Palace.
  • Multiplayer Baaa-tle – A suite of action-packed, Shaun the Sheep movie-themed party games bring some extra-terrestrial chaos to the farm with a visit to the Farmageddon theme park where you can compete with family and friends in a series of madcap fairground games hosted by Shaun’s new alien pal Lu-La, who has crash-landed near Mossy Bottom Farm.
  • Lovingly Lamb-made animation – Brought to you by award-winning animation studio Aardman the game features a beautiful hand-painted and traditionally animated art style, spectacular environments and endearing character animation.
