Formerly a series exclusive to portable devices such as the Nintendo 3DS, Square Enix is bringing their rhythm spin-off game franchise to the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch this month in Theatrhythm Final Bar Line. If you are curious about what this game plays like on home consoles – you are in luck – with the developer/publisher today releasing a demo version on both the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop.
This free demo of Theatrhythm Final Bar Line features a selection of 30 songs from the game’s approximately 385 strong tracklist, offering iconic music from pretty much every mainline Final Fantasy game – as well as works from remakes, spin-offs, and a selection of other Square Enix RPG properties. Some of the tracks you can access in the demo include:
- “Opening – Bombing Mission” from FINAL FANTASY® VII
- “Blinded By Light” from FINAL FANTASY XIII
- “Torn from the Heavens” from FINAL FANTASY XIV
- “APOCALYPSIS NOCTIS (Uncovered Trailer)” from FINAL FANTASY XV
Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is scheduled to be released on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch starting 16 February 2023.
