When Forspoken from Square Enix and their Luminous Productions studio launches next week, it will be a PlayStation 5 console exclusive. However, for those who don’t have a PS5 console or prefer to play on their own hardware, a PC version is also being made available at the same time. With launch day closely looming, Square Enix has shared the below trailer and some more information on the game’s PC features. The PC version will be made available via Steam, the Microsoft Store, and the Epic Games Store – with a more or less feature parity between the storefronts (outside of potential achievements).
Some promoted features of Forspoken’s PC version which are highlighted in the dedicated trailer includes:
- Stunning visuals with AMD FidelityFX Support
- Smooth performance options of up to 60 frames per second (With AMD FSR Support)
- Fast loading times (with Samsung SSD support)
- 32:9 ultra-widescreen support for a more immersive experience and panoramic views
- Full HDR support and customisable resolutions, aspect ratios and graphic features
- Direct sound compatible device and 7.1 audio (Ambisonics) support
- Freedom to play with either Keyboard & Mouse or Controller input (DUALSHOCK 4 and DualSense Wireless Controllers, DirectInput or Xinput compatible controller)

There are no additional bonuses for ordering from one digital storefront or another. However those who pre-order via either Steam, Microsoft Store or Epic Games Store will receive some small in-game trinkets to help them on their way: a Spectra Combo Necklace, Elite Cloak, and Overclock Nails.
