Xbox Australia has confirmed that “to support shoppers with any last-minute gifting needs”, the Xbox Series S will be available for $429.00 AUD / $469.00 NZD until Christmas Eve.

The Xbox Series S is a digital-only, smaller-scale new-generation console, compared to the also available Xbox Series X. While it supports all games from the Xbox Series X, it is considered a budget option – with no ability to purchase hard copy games from retailers, and relying exclusively on the Xbox Marketplace.
