Star Citizen’s Annual IAE Event (IAE 2952) to Commence Next Week

On Friday 18 November 2022, developer Cloud Imperium Games will be hosting their annual in-game Intergalactic Aerospace Expo, this time for the in-game year of 2952. Interestingly this event is being sponsored by ‘Drake Interplanetary’, who often have to hold separate in-game events due to controversy around them supplying crafts to pirates. Also for some reason they have killed off Jax McCleary, who featured in many of the previous ship event trailers

Pitched as being “Bigger than ever”, this annual event features a number of the IAE hallmarks, including a showroom providing everyone the opportunity to “Test-fly over 100 spaceships and vehicles for free”, a number of ships not ordinarily on sale being available to purchase, alongside “new vehicle announcements”. Furthermore, special-edition vehicle paints and in-game items are planned to be made available.

For those hoping to just enjoy a preview of some ships, above is the event program for each in-game ship manufacturer. While players are limited to the show floors of select manufacturers from Days 1 to 10, the final days will see all being made available. For more information on the event, click HERE.

During the event period (18-30 November 2022), everyone, regardless of pledge status, will be able to download the Star Citizen client and fly for free. To register, click HERE.
