For the megafans of the SpongeBob SquarePants media franchise, or even just the video game instalments, THQ Nordic has pronounced that “the fans wishes have come true”, confirming that a Collector’s Edition for the upcoming multiplatform release of SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is in the works.
Dubbed the ‘BFF Edition’, this collection features a number of digital and physical goodies, headlined by a 9.8″/25 cm high Cosmic Victory Statue and a 19.7″/50cm wide inflatable Patrick. To be specific, the edition includes the following:
- Cosmic Victory Statue – 25cm / 9.8″
- Inflatable Patrick – 50cm / 19.7″
- BFF Amulet with Necklace
- 4 Costume miniature bouncing balls
- 4 placemats
- Standard copy of the game on the chosen platform
- Costume Pack DLC
While you may want to throw your money at the edition right now, which is available to pre-order from select outlets, the kicker is that it will set you back €249.99 / $249.99 / £219.99 or local equivalent.
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC platforms sometime in 2023.
