Follow another young farmer seeking to make their way to riches, love and community spirit from mid-2023, with Marvelous Europe and XSEED Games confirming plans to offer Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life next year on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Steam for PC. Surprisingly, despite the series having a more casual, all-ages friendly appeal to it, both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms will not be receiving a release.
This is a remake of the 2003 Nintendo Gamecube game Bokujō Monogatari: Wonderful Life (Released as Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life), which will see players start their journey in the tranquil community of Forgotten Valley. With the bare essentials at their disposal, players will take control of their protagonist, as they commence a carefree life of crowing crops, raising animals and forming a family.
As a remake, it should be expected that new content is planned. While not being specific about new content, Marvelous Europe has confirmed that “returning fans will find plenty of exciting updates to Forgotten Valley, while newcomers to the series will discover the joys of cozy farm life and the extraordinary characters that make the series shine”.
