Disciples of the Lamb, Rejoice! A new limited time update has been rolled out for the surprise hit of 2022, Cult of the Lamb, marking the real world spooky season with its in-game equivalent, the Blood Moon Festival. But be sure to celebrate before 10 November 2022, when the festival will be over.
Under the light of the Blood Moon devotees can harvest pumpkins to unlock a brand new ritual that will raise former members of their cult, casting them back to the land of the living as wandering spirits. New follower forms and dreadful decorations will be granted upon their capture.
To summarise, the key features of Cult of the Lamb’s Blood Moon Festival event includes:
- New Blood Moon Ritual
- 3 New Follower Forms to unlock
- 4 Base Decorations to unlock
- New music track
Developed by Australian indie developer Massive Monster and published by Devolver Digital, Cult of the Lamb is a rogue-like action-adventure game which is now available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC – and has proven to be one of the surprise but well deserved hits of 2022 for me.
