Chaos;Head NOAH and Chaos;Child Double Pack Now Available on Switch, PC

Both physically and digitally on the Nintendo Switch and, in a last minute turn, digitally on the PC via Steam, Spike Chunsoft has confirmed their 2-in-1 double pack release of Chaos;Head NOAH and Chaos;Child is now available to purchase in North America, Europe and other supported PAL regions.

The publisher has confirmed that the visual novel does have a Day 1 patch, which covers only minor bug fixes. It sounds like that, if you are like myself and enjoy diving straight into a game, you might be able to hold off on that update.

Despite recently confirming that the collection would not be launching on Steam, events since then have permitted Spike Chunsoft to offer the visual novel in an unedited state on the platform.

As per this provided to the publisher by Valve:

Valve’s content review team, the group that made the original decision, has re-examined CHAOS;HEAD NOAH and decided to reverse course and allow the game to ship on Steam, as is. We’ve also examined the process that led to the previous decision about CHAOS;HEAD NOAH, and made some changes to avoid situations like this in the future.

About CHAOS;HEAD NOAH

Takumi Nishijo is a second-year high school student on the verge of becoming a shut-in. “I have no interest in 3D.” He lives surrounded by his beautiful girl figures in his room. He lives in Shibuya, where there has been a series of bizarre serial murders known as “New Generation Madness” (aka NewGen). The culprit has yet to be caught and has been causing unrest on the internet and television. One day, a gruesome image that seemed to predict the next NewGen killing was sent by a mysterious figure called “Shogun.” The next day, on his way home from school, Takumi encounters a horrific crime scene, exactly as predicted. Before the corpse is a blood-soaked girl – Rimi Sakihata.

Just one thing is different, a mysterious sticker left at the crime scene.
