On 7 October 2022 and 8 October 2022, Bethesda Softworks ANZ will be inviting fans to “step into the worlds and environments from their favourite past, present and future Bethesda games”. As part of Melbourne International Games Week, the ‘Worlds of Bethesda’ Interactive Experience will transform The Dove Club (322 Little Collins Street) into a venue tailored towards fans of their works – particularly Starfield, Redfall, The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series. According to the company, the event will consist of “interactive experiences, immersive entertainment, themed food/beverages, a community party and more”.
The main attraction will be open on both days from 11.00am until 4.30pm, with visitors to Worlds of Bethesda transported into themed areas based on each featured game – a Tamrielic tavern inspired by The Elder Scrolls Online, a Reclamation Day dining area inspired by Fallout, a planetary exploration and anti-gravity space room inspired by Starfield, as well as the survivor HQ in the town of Redfall, Massachusetts.
Attendees will be able to leave with souvenirs from their trip to these worlds, including a super limited edition collectible passport and a goodie bag. Fans will also be able to bring their own Xbox One/X/S controller and have it airbrushed, themed around their favourite Bethesda game from controller modder, WeAreRobots. Other prizes to be won across both days include a custom Redfall & Starfield PC built by AfterShockPC, an ESO Breton Chilly Chest and Starfield merch.
For those who like a bit of video game styled nightlife AND are 18 years or older, on the Friday evening from 7pm, the venue will be transformed into an adults-only event featuring a live music act, special guest appearances, and cosplayers partying until midnight in a Redfall inspired bar.
Tickets to the day events can now be booked for free via Eventbrite from today. The Friday Night Party tickets were also available, however sold out very quickly.
